Loosen the lock nut at the brake pedal booster rod and turn the booster rod so that the brake pedal rises. Turn the rod until the measurement
between the brake pedal and the gas pedal reaches 40 mm. Note: This is a maximum measurement and must not be exceeded! Secure the lock nut
on the brake pedal booster rod. Turn the brake light switch back in until the measurement between the case of the switch is 0.3 mm, this is needed
so there is free play in the brake pedal and so the brakes are not being applied without your foot being on the pedal.

This operation does not change the brake pedal stroke or brake performance. It will only give the operator the perception that the brake pedal is
operating more efficiently.

For 2000MY vehicles within the adjustment warranty period, this repair may be claimed using the table shown.
