Rear Door Latch: Service and Repair
Rear Door Latch Assembly
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect ground cable from battery.
2. Remove the rear door trim. <Ref. to REMOVAL, Rear Door Trim.>
3. Remove the sealing cover. <Ref. to REMOVAL, Rear Sealing Cover.>
4. Remove the rear inner remote. <Ref. to REMOVAL, Rear Inner Remote.>
5. Remove the three screws and bolt.
6. Disconnect the connector. Remove the rear door latch assembly.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Make sure the lock operates properly after installation.
INSPECTION
1. Make sure the rod is not deformed.
2. Make sure the lever and rod work smoothly.
