Apply -53kPa (-7.69Psi) to -67kPa (-9.72Psi) vacuum pressure to outlet nozzle (1) of EVAP canister purge valve by using special tool. If vacuum
is held go to the next step. If not replace EVAP canister purge valve with new one.
CAUTION:
Do not apply more than -86kPa (-12.47Psi) vacuum pressure and do not blow high pressure air into outlet nozzle; otherwise EVAP canister purge
valve could be damaged.

Connect 12V-battery to terminals of EVAP canister purge valve.
4.
Keeping the 12V-battery connected to the terminals of EVAP canister purge valve and apply vacuum to outlet nozzle of EVAP canister purge
valve by using special tool as described above. If vacuum can not held the EVAP canister purge valve is in good condition. If the vacuum is held
replace EVAP canister purge valve with new one.
