Swift L4-1298cc 1.3L SOHC MFI (1997)
2. As shown, move boot so that joint section of tie rod and steering rack is exposed.
3. Unbend tie rod lock washer and remove tie rod with tie rod end from gear box as shown.
4. Using special tool, remove box.
Special Tool (A): 09917-23611 or equivalent.
5. Remove O-ring and/or U-packing.
INSTALLATION
Reverse removal procedure to install oil seals noting following points.
1. Apply SUPER GREASE E, or equivalent, to O-ring and U-packing of box and install them into groove in box.
