Wheel Bearing: Service and Repair
Front Suspension
Bearing Set
REMOVAL
NOTE: Once bearing outer race is removed, bearing set (outer race, bearings and inner races) should be replaced with new one.
1. Remove outside oil seal, snap ring, outside bearing, inside oil seal and inside bearing in that order.
Special Tool: 09900-06108 or equivalent.
NOTE:

To remove inside oil seal, insert flathead screwdriver or the like through wheel sensor installation hole as shown.

In case of ABS equipped vehicle, remove wheel speed sensor before removing inside oil seal.
2. Remove bearing outer race using special tool (G), and hydraulic press.
Special Tool (G): 09913-75520 or equivalent.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: When replacing bearing, inner race or outer race, be sure to replace them with new ones as a set.
