Fuel Injector: Component Tests and General Diagnostics

Injection Inspection

INJECTORS INJECTION INSPECTION

CAUTION: Keep injector clear of sparks during the test.

Disconnect the fuel hose from the fuel filter outlet.

-

Connect SST (union and hose) to the fuel filter outlet with the 2 gaskets and the union bolt.
-

SST 90405-09015 - No.1 union

-

SST 09268-41046 - Injector test set

-

Remove the fuel pressure regulator.

-

Connect the fuel return hose, SST (hose) and SST (union) to the fuel pressure regulator. 
-

SST 09268-41091 - No.7 union

-

Install the O-ring to the injector.
