Wheel Fastener: Service and Repair
Front
REPLACEMENT
1. Remove front wheel.
2. Remove front brake caliper and disc.
a. Remove the 2 bolts and brake caliper from the steering knuckle.
b. Support the brake caliper securely and remove the disc.
3. Remove hub bolt, using SST 09628 - 10011.
4. Install hub bolt with a washer and nut, as shown in the illustration, and install the hub bolt by torquing the nut.
5. Install disc and front brake caliper, torque to 88 Nm (65 ft. lbs.).
6. Install front wheel, torque to 103 Nm (76 ft. lbs.).
