3. DISCONNECT BRAKE LINES

Using SST, disconnect the brake lines from the master cylinder.
SST 09023-00100
Torque: 13 Nm (133 kgf-cm, 10 ft. lbs.) 

HINT:  At the time of installation, use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.81 inch).

4. w/o ABS:

REMOVE MASTER CYLINDER
Remove the 3 mounting nuts and pull out the master cylinder, vacuum check valve bracket, 3-way and gasket.
Torque: 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.) 

5. w/ABS:

REMOVE MASTER CYLINDER
Remove the 3 mounting nuts and pull out the master cylinder, vacuum check valve bracket and gasket.
Torque: 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.) 

INSTALLATION 

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

HINT:

Before installation, adjust length of the brake booster push rod.

After installation, fill the brake reservoir with brake fluid, bleed brake system and check for leaks.

-

After installation, check and adjust the brake pedal.
