1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT

a. Remove the 2 seat track covers and 4 bolts.
b. Disconnect the side airbag connector.

NOTE:  When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

c. Remove the front seat.

2. REMOVE HEADREST
3. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE
4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD
5. REMOVE INNER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD
6. REMOVE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

a. Remove the side airbag wire harness from the wire harness protector.

b. Remove the 3 hog rings as shown in the illustration.

c. Remove the 2 hog rings as shown in the illustration.
d. Remove the 4 bolts and seatback assembly.
