7. On models with tachometer, resistance should be as follows:

a. A-B: about 154.3 ohms.
b. A-C: about 107.2 ohms.
c. B-C: about 261.5 ohms.
d. If resistance is not as specified, replace receiver gauge.

8. On models less tachometer, resistance should be as follows:

a. A-B: about 280.5 ohms.
b. A-C: about 126.2 ohms.
c. B-C: about 154.3 ohms.
d. If resistance is not as specified, replace receiver gauge.

9. On 1993 models, check fuel sender gauge as follows:

a. Connect a series of three 1.5 volt dry cell batteries.
b. Connect positive lead from dry cell batteries to terminal 2 through a 3.4W test bulb, Fig. 41.

c. Connect negative lead from dry cell batteries to terminal 1.
d. Connect positive lead of a voltmeter to terminal 1 and negative lead to terminal 2.
e. Ensure voltage rises between terminals as float is moved from top to bottom.
f.

If voltage does not rise as specified, replace fuel sender gauge.

10. On 1994-96 models, check fuel sender gauge as follows:

a. Connect a series of three 1.5 volt dry cell batteries.
b. Connect positive lead from dry cell batteries to terminal 2 through a 3.4W test bulb, Fig. 42.
