(b) Using side cutters, cut the small boot clamp and remove it.
(c) Temporarily move the boot toward the damper.
(d) Place matchmarks on the outboard joint's inner race and drive shaft.
(e) Using snap ring pliers, expand the snap ring and push off the outboard joint.
(f) Remove the snap ring.
(g) Slide out the outboard joint boot.
NOTICE: Do not disassemble the outboard joint further.
