HINT:  When the pressure in the accumulator is released, the reaction force becomes lighter and the stroke becomes longer.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

NOTICE:  Immediately wash off any brake fluid that comes into contact with a painted surface.

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE
4. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR FOOTREST
5. REMOVE FOOTREST CLIP
6. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD
7. SEPARATE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL NO. 1 REGISTER ASSEMBLY
9. SEPARATE HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
11. SEPARATE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS

12. REMOVE HYDRAULIC BRAKE BOOSTER

(a)

Disconnect the 3 connectors from the hydraulic brake booster.

(b) Using SST, disconnect the 4 brake tubes from the hydraulic brake booster.
