Blower Motor: Service and Repair
Blower Unit
Removal and Installation
BLOWER UNIT REMOVAL
1. REMOVE COOLING UNIT
See: Evaporator Case/Service and Repair
2. REMOVE BLOWER UNIT
a. Disconnect the connector from the blower motor.
b. Disconnect the air inlet damper control cable.
INSTALLATION HINT: For installing the control cable refer to "A/C CONTROL CABLES ADJUSTMENT" See: Control
Assembly/Adjustments
c. Disconnect the wire harness clamps from blower unit.
d. Remove the 2 nut. bolt and the blower unit.
INSTALLATION HINT: Do not reuse the 2 nuts.
BLOWER UNIT INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Disassembly and Reassembly
BLOWER UNIT DISASSEMBLY
Blower Unit
REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR
Remove the 3 screws and blower motor.
BLOWER UNIT ASSEMBLY
Assembly is in the reverse order of disassembly.
