Paseo Coupe L4-1497cc 1.5L DOHC MFI (1997)
a. Using the 09608 - 10010 SST and a press, install a new bearing to the steering knuckle.
NOTE: If the inner race and balls come loose from the bearing outer race, be sure to install them on the same side as before.
b. Using snap ring pliers, install a new snap ring.
2. Install the outer oil seal by doing the following.
a. Using a 09608 - 10010 Special Service Tool (SST) and a hammer, install a new outer oil seal.
b. Coat the oil seal lip with MP grease.
3. Install the dust cover by doing these steps.
a. Place the dust cover on the steering knuckle.
b. Using a (T30) torx wrench , tighten the three bolts to 8.3 Nm (74 inch lbs.).
4. Using the 09608 - 10010, 09950 - 60010 (09951 - 00610) SST and a press, install the axle hub.
5. Install the lower ball joint and do the following.
a. Tighten the ball joint nut to 98 Nm (72 ft. lbs.).
b. Install a new clip.
6. Install the inner oil seal by doing the following.
a. Using the 09608 - 10010 SST and a hammer, install a new inner oil seal.
