b. Coat the oil seal lip with MP grease.

Hub Bolt

HUB BOLT REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the front wheel.
2. Remove the brake caliper and disc. 

3. Using the 09628 - 10011 Special Service Tool (SST), remove the hub bolt. 

4. Install washer and nut to the hub bolt, as shown in the illustration, and install the hub bolt while tightening the nut.
5. Install the disc and brake caliper.  See TSB DL001-98, 3-6-98.

 

6. Install the front wheel, tightening it to 103 Nm (76 ft. lbs.).
