Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair
Removal
2ZR-FXE ENGINE CONTROL: ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR: REMOVAL
1. REMOVE EGR WITH COOLER PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the EGR with cooler pipe sub-assembly See: Emission Control Systems/Exhaust Gas Recirculation/EGR Cooler/Service and
Repair/Removal.
2. REMOVE RADIATOR WITHOUT CAP RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY See: Engine Control Module/Service and Repair/Removal
3. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
(b) Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.
