Seal Ring for Rear Crankshaft, Replace (Transmission Installed)
Seal Ring, Crankshaft, Rear, Replace (Transmission Installed)
Remove, Disconnect
Remove clutch - see operation "Clutch Plate and Pressure Plate, Remove and Install" in group "K".
Flywheel - see operation "Flywheel, Remove and Install".
Remove thrust bearing and guide sleeve (arrows) for thrust bearing.
Insert Remover Hook KM-469-A-6 between sealing lip and crankshaft journal.
Remove, Disconnect
Assemble Support KM-469-A-4, Lever KM-469-A-13 and Pin KM-328-B.
Remove crankshaft seal ring in direction of arrow.
Install, Connect
Slide Protective Sleeve KM-635-1 on crankshaft journal. Lightly coat sealing lip with silicone grease (white). Place Compress Ring KM-635-2 on seal ring.
Install, Connect
Press seal ring in to stop in cylinder block with KM-469-A-11 and KM-469-A-12 - insert centring pins (arrows) into bores in transmission.
Remove Special Service Tools KM-469-A and KM-635.
Attach guide sleeve for thrust bearing to transmission - 22 Nm/16 lbf. ft.
Install thrust bearing.
Flywheel - see operation "Flywheel, Remove and Install".
Fit clutch - see operation "Clutch Plate and Pressure Plate Remove and Install" in group "K".
Remove, Disconnect 
Install, Connect
