Seal Ring for Rear Crankshaft, Replace (Transmission Removed)
Seal Ring, Crankshaft, Rear, Replace (Transmission Removed)
Remove, Disconnect
Flywheel - see operation "Flywheel, Remove and Install".
Edge out seal ring (1) with suitable tool - ensure that sealing surfaces are not damaged.
Clean
Clean sealing surfaces and remove gasket residue.
Install, Connect
Lightly coat sealing lip of the new seal ring with silicon grease (white). Place seal ring over Protective Sleeve KKM-635-1 (2) and place straight in cylinder block and crankshaft.
Position Installer Sleeve KM-635-2 (3) on protective sleeve and drive in seal ring with Drift KM-535 (4) until it sits flush in cylinder block.

Remove, Disconnect 
Clean 
Install, Connect
