Seal Ring, Crankshaft, Rear, Replace (Transmission Removed)  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove drive disc or flywheel - see operation "Drive Disc, Remove and Install" or "Flywheel, Remove and Install".   Use a suitable tool to remove seal ring (1).     Important!    Do not damage sealing surfaces.     Clean    Clean sealing surfaces and remove sealant remnants.     Install, Connect    Lightly smear lip of seal ring with silicon grease (white).   Drive in seal ring with KM-635 (2) and KM-535 (3) in cylinder block.   Install drive disc or flywheel - see operation "Drive Disc, Remove and Install" or "Flywheel, Remove and Install".
