Remove and install auxiliary aggregates support (with air conditioning)  

Notice: 

The following description for removal is described for closed hydraulic and refrigerant systems.  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove ribbed V-belt tension roller - see operation "Ribbed V-belt Tension Roller, Remove and Install".  

Remove exhaust manifold - see operation "Exhaust Manifold, Remove and Install".  

Disconnect wiring harness plug (1) from compressor.   Remove front fastening bolts (2) from compressor.

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove fastening bolts (1) from compressor and fastening bolts (2) from auxiliary aggregates support or from cylinder block - note varying bolt lengths.   Remove compressor bracket and lay aside compressor at a suitable point.   Front axle body - see operation "Front Axle Body, Remove and Install"   in group "E".     Important!    When lowering the front axle body ensure that refrigerant hoses are not tensioned.     Remove, Disconnect    Remove power steering pump strap, if present, from auxiliary aggregates support.   Remove fastening bolts (3) from power steering pump and attach power steering pump at a suitable point.

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove auxiliary aggregates support from cylinder block and remove downwards.     Install, Connect    Attach auxiliary aggregates support to cylinder block - 35 Nm/26 lbf. ft.   Install power steering pump on auxiliary aggregates support - tightening torque 25 Nm/18 lbf. ft.   Install power steering pump strap, if present, on auxiliary aggregates support - tightening torque 18 Nm/18 lbf. ft.   Front axle body - see operation "Front Axle Body, Remove and Install" in group "E".   Install compressor bracket on compressor - tightening torque 20 Nm/15 lbf. ft.   Install compressor bracket on auxiliary aggregates support or on cylinder block - tightening torque 35 Nm/26 lbf. ft.   Connect compressor to auxiliary aggregates support - tightening torque 20 Nm. Connect wiring harness plug to compressor.   Install exhaust manifold - see operation "Exhaust Manifold, Remove and Install".
