Upper Part of Oil Pan, Remove and Install
 Remove, Disconnect Remove lower part of oil pan - see operation "Lower Part of Oil Pan, Remove and Install". Remove upper part of oil pan (1) from transmission and cylinder block. Clean sealing surfaces and remove sealant remnants.
 Install, Connect Apply adhesive sealant (black) to the oilpump and rear crankshaft bearing cover separation joints. Attach upper part of oil pan to cylinder block and transmission housing with new seal. |

Install, Connect Installation sequence:
- Tighten all bolts loosely.
- Tighten screws at cylinder block and oil pump - tightening torque 20 Nm 1) .
- Tighten screws at transmission housing - tightening torque 40 Nm.
Front exhaust pipe. Install lower part of oil pan - see operation "Lower Part of Oil Pan, Remove and Install".
1) Regroove thread before reuse and insert with screw lock (red). Maximum installation time including torque check: ten minutes.
