Remove flywheel or drive disc - see operation "Flywheel, Remove and Install" or "Drive Disc, Remove and Install". Remove seal ring with a suitable tool (1) - take care not to damage sealing surface.
 Clean Clean sealing surfaces and remove sealant remnants.
 Install, Connect Lubricate lip of new seal ring with white silicon grease and attach the tight side to the KM-658-2 protective sleeve (2). Attach protective sleeve, with seal ring mounted, to crankshaft journal and press down evenly and flush. Attach KM-658-1 steer angle sleeve (3) to KM-658-2 protective sleeve (2) and drive home seal ring until it is sitting flush in the housing. Install flywheel or drive disc - see "Removing and installing flywheel" and "Removing and installing drive disc" service instructions. |
