Alternator  

Alternator, Remove and Install  

Notice: 

 

Version I:   - normal version   Version II:   - India version

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove alternator V-belt - see operation "V-belt - Alternator, Remove and Install".  

For Version I - remove heat shield.  

Remove cable connections from alternator.  

For Version II - remove alternator bracket (3).  

Remove fastening bolts (2), (5) and (1) or (4), and remove alternator.  

  Install, Connect   

Insert alternator. Insert fastening bolts and tighten.  

Attach cable connections to alternator.  

For Version I - remove heat shield - tightening torque 6 Nm/4.5 lbf. ft.  

Install alternator V-belt - see operation "V-belt - Alternator, Remove and Install".  

For Version II - install alternator bracket - tightening torque 18 Nm/13.5 lbf. ft.  

Install air intake hose and air cleaner housing.
