Disconnect earthing cable from battery. Remove air filter housing - see "Removing and installing air filter housing " service instructions. Mark direction of rotation of ribbed V-belt. Loosen ribbed V-belt in clockwise direction using ribbed V-belt tension roller and KM-913-A and remove ribbed V-belt from generator belt pulley. Remove fastening bolts (1) and (2). Disconnect cable connections (3) from generator. Remove generator with bracket.
 Install, Connect Connect generator to cylinder block - tightening torque 35 Nm. Connect cable connection to generator. Connect generator to shackle - tightening torque 20 Nm. Tighten ribbed V-belt with KM-913-A in a clockwise direction and lay ribbed V-belt aside, noting direction of rotation of ribbed V-belt. Install air filter housing - see "Removing and installing air filter housing" service instructions. Connect earthing cable to battery. |
