Alternator, Remove and Install (Engines with V-belts)  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Disconnect ground cable from battery.  

Air intake hose from air cleaner housing upper part and throttle valve body.  

Object Number: 2381278 Size: DEFAULT

Upper alternator fastening bolt (arrow) from shackle. Move alternator aside and remove V-belt.  

Ensure that ground cable is in good condition.  

Disconnect cable connections from alternator.  

Lower alternator fastening bolt from alternator support. Remove alternator.  

Object Number: 2379399 Size: DEFAULT

 

 

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Alternator to alternator support (lower arrow) - 35 Nm/26 lbf. ft.  

Connect wiring connections to alternator.  

Move alternator aside and install V-belt. Upper alternator fastening bolt with ground lead to shackle (upper arrows) - 25 Nm/18 lbf. ft.  

Object Number: 2374670 Size: DEFAULT

Air intake hose to air cleaner housing upper part and throttle valve body.  

Connect ground cable to battery.
