Hydraulic System, Top Up and Bleed  

To check fluid level, use the dipstick in the screw-on fluid reservoir cap.

The stationary engine is filled up with fluid to MAX mark (1). Start engine and immediately top up fluid to lower MIN mark (2).  

Object Number: 616201  Size: DEFAULT  Important!   

The power steering pump may not run dry. Used oil may not be used again.  

Turn the steering wheel 2 to 3 times 45 ° slowly towards the left and right and 2 times turn it from stop to stop. Correct again the oil level in the oil reservoir. For oil quality - see "Technical Data - Hydraulic Steering Gear".  

Switch off engine and check fluid level.  

Fluid at operating temperature:  

approx. 80 ° C/ 176 ° F up to MAX (1).  

Fluid cold:  

approx. 20 ° C/ 68 ° F up to MIN (2).  

 

Check hydraulic system for leaks.
