Anti-theft Warning System (Corsa-B/Tigra, Astra-F)
In Model Year 1995, an improved anti-theft warning system (ATWS) is available for Corsa-B/Tigra and Astra-F models with central locking.
The system has been extended to include an ultrasonic glass breakage monitor. As in the Astra-F Estate, the heated rear screen in the Corsa-B/Tigra and Astra-F Notchback and Hatchback models is additionally monitored by the heat conductors, switched to ground.
This provides the system with even more effective protection against theft than hat the previous system.
The design and function of this ATWS correspond to the previous system. The doors, tailgate, bonnet and radio are monitored in the same way as before.
