Rear Screen Monitor
As already featured in the Astra-F Estate, the heated rear screen is monitored by the heat conductors switched to ground (contact loop).
If the screen is broken, the contact loop is interrupted. The control unit registers this interruption and triggers the alarm. The corresponding alarm code is stored in the control unit.
If the contact loop is already interrupted when the ATWS is activated, the input signal from the control unit is ignored; a trouble code is stored in the control unit.
