Ignition ON

Press key F7 in the system main menu, select the desired test using the arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the TECH 1 display.

Start programming

After the programming is started, the country code to be programmed is required. There is a choice between the following countries:

·   Germany (or Europe, except for the countries mentioned below)                "D"

·   Great Britain                                                                                           "GB"

·   Switzerland                                                                                             "CH"

·   Netherlands                                                                                            "NL"

SWITZERLAND

NETHERLANDS

If the display on the right appears after programming, programming was successful.

If the display on the right appears after programming, a fault has occurred during programming. The following actions should be taken consecutively:

·   Read trouble code; no trouble code may be stored;

·   Repeat programming;

·   Perform TECH 1 self-test;

·   Check TECH 1 cable for damaged insulation and shielding;

·   Repeat programming with a new control unit;
