Test Step 1 - Voltage Supply for Control Unit K 37 and Servo Motors > < Overheating Cutout

Servo Motors, Adjust

 

The servo motors for the fuel tank flap and the tailgate/luggage compartment lid cannot be adjusted.

 

 

After removal and installation, or if incorrect adjustment leads to the doors locking during operation (e.g. under vibration), the servo motors in the doors must be adjusted.

 

 

·   For all servo motors in the doors, the following applies:

 

-    Remove door inner panelling.

-    Remove door lock - servo motor assembly.

-    Press slider (1) of servo motor to lock position and hold down (see illustration E 3957).

-    Loosen bolts (2) of servo motor.

·   Adjust driver's door servo motor:

 

-    Slide servo motor (1) (arrow), until lock lever (2) touches the rubber buffer (3) (see illustration E 9002).

-    Tighten bolts.

·   Adjust all other servo motors:

 

-    Adjust lock lever to gap of 2 mm/0.08 in. by sliding servo motor (see illustrations E 9003 and E 9004, arrows).

-    Tighten bolts.
