Control Unit Solenoid Valve, Remove and Install
Important!
If the solenoid valve control unit is being replaced, it must be reprogrammed - see corresponding Checking Procedures.
Remove, Disconnect
Remove intake manifold - see operation "Intake Manifold, Remove and Install". Remove oil cooler - see operation "Oil Cooler, Remove and Install".
Drill out fastening bolts for solenoid valve control unit (1) - carefully mask connections for injection lines. Remove solenoid valve control unit.
Install, Connect
Install control unit solenoid valve with new fastening bolts. Tighten fastening bolts until bolt heads shear off.
Install oil cooler - see operation "Oil Cooler, Remove and Install". Install intake manifold - see operation "Intake Manifold, Remove and Install".

Install, Connect
