Note:

A maximum of 5 transponder keys can be programmed (registered) in the immobiliser control unit. The vehicle is delivered by the manufacturer with 2 programmed transponder keys, programmed at positions 1 and 2. TECH 1 therefore indicates PROGRAMMED for test steps 09 and 10. Depending on whether further transponder keys were subsequently programmed, TECH 1 displays PROGRAMMED or NOT PROGRAMMED for test steps 11, 12 and 13.

TECH 1 also displays NOT PROGRAMMED if a transponder key that is not authorised for the vehicle is used.

If a new immobiliser control unit has been installed and no transponder keys have been programmed as of yet, TECH 1 displays NOT PROGRAMMED for test steps 09 and 10 as well.
