Cause of Fault:

(If nominal value is not attained)

·   Ignition OFF

·   Disconnect wiring harness plug X 20 from MID

·   Measure resistance between X 20/Ter. 17 and ground:

> 22 kW

·   Lead from X 20/Ter. 17 to plug X 24/Ter. A has short circuit to ground

·   MID switch S 34 defective

·   Press start key "R" in MID switch S 34

·   Measure resistance between X 20/Ter. 17 and ground:

< 2 kW

·   Lead from X 20/Ter. 17 to plug X 24/Ter. A is interrupted

·   MID switch S 34 defective

·   Lead from S 34 to ground is interrupted

·   If nominal values are attained

·   MID defective
