·   If test step no. 09 OK

·   MID defective

If the display WARNING appears in TECH 1, the coolant fluid level is too low at present or a fault has occurred in the circuit. The malfunction is recognized directly at ignition ON; when the vehicle is in operation, a certain amount of time (approx. 30 s) elapses until the fault is stored.

When WARNING appears in TECH 1 it can be quitted via the start key "R" of the MID switch on the screen wiper lever. The TECH 1 display then shows WARNING QUIT.  The fault is still present.

If the display  HISTORY WARNING appears in TECH 1, the coolant level  was too low at an earlier time or there  was a fault in the circuit. At present, the coolant level circuit  is okay (loose contact). The HISTORY WARNING can be deleted in TECH 1 mode F4:CLEAR CODES when the fault has been eliminated.
