(If nominal value is not attained)

·   If test step no. 19 OK

·   MID defective

If the display  WARNING  appears in TECH 1, a fault has occurred at the moment in the low beam/rear lamp circuit. The malfunction is recognized directly at ignition ON; when the vehicle is in operation, a certain amount of time (approx. 5 s) elapses until the fault is stored.

When WARNING appears in TECH 1 it can be quitted via the start key "R" of the MID switch on the screen wiper lever. The TECH 1 display then shows WARNING QUIT.  The fault is still present.

If the display  HISTORY WARNING appears in TECH 1, a fault  has occurred previously in the circuit. At present, the low beam/rear lamp circuit  is okay (loose contact). The HISTORY WARNING can be deleted in TECH 1 mode F4:CLEAR CODES when the fault has been eliminated.
