Trouble Code, Read out with Diagnostic Switch KM-640
Using KM-640, the excitation lead of the Multi-Info-Display is short circuited to ground in the diagnostic plug. The Multi-Info-Display is in diagnosis mode 1, signified by "DIAG:1" in the Multi-Info-Display. This triggers trouble code readout. "D12" flashes three times in the lower part of the display as an introduction to trouble code readout. Thereafter, any stored trouble codes - trouble codes currently present are indicated by the fault flag "F" in the time display - are shown three times in the Multi-Info-Display (e.g.: ERROR: 167 ).
