Brake Lamp Switch, Remove and Install
Remove
Lower instrument panel padding cover – see operation "Lower Instrument Panel Padding Cover, Remove and Install" in group "C".
Air Duct – Footwell.
Release wiring harness plug (arrows) and remove.
Unscrew brake lamp switch from pedal support.
Install
Push actuating pin (1) completely into brake lamp switch, turn brake lamp switch into pedal support, attach wiring harness plug. Depress brake pedal and pull actuation pin fully out of brake lamp switch (2). Release brake pedal. Actuation pin is pressed in brake lamp switch by brake pedal. Air flow guide footwell, Inner panelling lower instrument panel padding.
