Rear Seat Backrest, Remove and Install
 Remove
Remove load compartment floor covering, for Model F35 –
see operation "Floor Covering – Load Compartment, Remove and
Install (Model F 35)".

Remove right belt lock (1).
For right rear seat half: release rear seat main bracket
fastening screws from underbody and release both screws (2 and 3)
between rear seat main brackets.
For left rear seat half: release both rear seat main bracket
fastening screws from underbody and release both screws (2 and 3)
between rear seat main brackets.
For vehicles with 3-point centre seat belt: left belt lock
(4).

Release rear seat backrest at rear in rear seat catch area, rear
seat backrest.
Install
|
Install rear seat locking device, rear seat backrest, right and
left belt locks.
Caution
Fastening screws for rear seat locking device, rear seat
backrest and right belt lock must be fitted with screw locking
compound.
Torque
Rear belt lock to underbody – 35 Nm / 26 lbf. ft.
Install
Load compartment floor covering.
