Luggage compartment lid, remove and install (model
L69)
 Remove
| 1. |
Open luggage compartment lid
|
|
| 2. |
Prepare wiring harness
| • |
Disconnect wiring harness plug (1)
|
| • |
Pull wiring harness with rubber grommet out of body
|
|
|
| 3. |
Detach gas-filled damper
| • |
Unclip 2x gas-filled dampers and lay aside
Note: Support the
luggage compartment lid!

| 4. |
Detach luggage compartment lid
Note: This requires a
second person
| • |
Remove the luggage compartment lid
|
|
|
Install
| 5. |
When replacing the luggage compartment lid, transfer the
attaching parts
|
| 6. |
Install the luggage compartment lid
Note: This requires a
second person
| • |
Position the luggage compartment lid
|
|
| 7. |
Fasten the gas-filled dampers
| • |
Clip in 2x gas-filled dampers
|
|
| 8. |
Install the luggage compartment lid wiring harness
| • |
Insert and route wiring harness with rubber grommet in body
|
| • |
Connect wiring harness plug
|
|
| 9. |
Fit luggage compartment lid
