Replace center folding roof seal - L67
 Remove

Place folding top in service position

Use special tool BO-47651-200 (1)

Secure roof with accompanying tensioner belt (2)
|

|
|
| 3. |
Remove moulded headlining (1)
| • |
Remove moulded headlining
|
|
|
| 4. |
Detach seal
| • |
Remove seal 2x from guide
| – |
Remove Butyl cord carefully from bodyshell
Note: When reusing the
seal, carefully remove the butyl cord from the seal.

|
|
| 5. |
Remove adhesive residue from folding roof centre
|
Install
| 6. |
Affix Nitto foam tape (1) to the folding roof centre
| • |
Affix Nitto foam tape in an area so wide that it aligns with
the radius (2)
|

|
|
| 7. |
Attach Butyl cord (1) to both front faces
| • |
Attach Butyl cord as illustrated
|
|
|
|
| 8. |
Attach Butyl cord (1) to both retraining strips (2)
| • |
Mould the Butyl cord around ball as illustrated and affix
|
|
|
|
| 9. |
Affix Butyl cord (1) to both threaded bolts of the centre
folding roof weatherstrip
|
|
|
| 10. |
Insert centre folding roof weatherstrip
|
| 11. |
Attach Butyl cord (1) to both inner sides

Attach Butyl cord as illustrated
|
|
|
|
| 12. |
Attach centre folding roof weatherstrip
| • |
Apply sealing compound under weatherstrip
Note: As illustrated,
apply the sealant bead approx. 45 mm
from the edge.

|
| 13. |
Attach centre folding roof weatherstrip assembly
| • |
Check the centre folding roof weatherstrip for proper
seating
|
|
| 14. |
Remove remaining glue
|
| 15. |
Attach center moulded headlining
|
| 16. |
Close folding top
| • |
Remove special tool BO-47651-200
|
