Replace upper lock for rear seat backrest lock - center

  Remove

1.   Remove rear seat cushion
•   Unlock at the loop (1) and hang off in rear area (arrow)
•   Remove rear seat upwards

2.   Remove center rear seat backrest
•   Unscrew 2x bolts at the front
– Remove belt buckle
•   Unscrew 4x bolts, side
•   Fold down rear seat backrest
•   Unscrew 2x bolts at the back

3.   Remove head restraints
4.   Detach head restraint guide sleeve
•   Detach 2x head restraint guide sleeve with a suitable tool
5.   Detach rear seat backrest cover
•   Remove 11x clips
6.   Detach brackets, right and left
•   Unscrew 2x bolt

7.   Detach lock panelling
•   Unscrew 2x bolt (1)
Object Number: 7361532 Size: DEFAULT


8.   Detach upholstery covering all the way round
9.   Remove upholstery covering
•   Remove upholstery covering
10.   Remove lock, rear center seat backrest
•   Remove upholstery
•   Unscrew 2x bolt (1)
Object Number: 8231332 Size: DEFAULT


  Install

11.   Attach rear seat backrest lock
•   Tighten 2x bolts
•   Insert upholstery
12.   Attach upholstery padding
•   Insert pad
13.   Attach upholstery covering
•   Position upholstery covering
14.   Insert surrounding upholstery covering
15.   Attach lock panelling
•   Tighten 2x bolts
16.   Attach head restraint guide sleeve
•   Engage 2x head restraint guide sleeves (audible click)
17.   Attach brackets, right and left
•   Tighten 2x bolts
18.   Attach rear seat backrest cover
•   Attach 11x clips
19.   Install head restraints
20.   Insert rear seat backrest
21.   Install rear seat backrest
•   Tighten 2x screws at back 20 Nm
Note:   Use screw locking compound
•   Fold down rear seat backrest
•   Insert belt buckle
•   Tighten 4x bolts 20 Nm
•   Tighten 2x front bolts 20 Nm
Note:   Use screw locking compound
22.   Insert rear seat cushions and lock
