Result: System Overload
|
- A temporary current overload in the system behind fuse FE8 has occurred
Note:
In case of a temporary current overload, the cause for the blow of the fuse may be located in a circuit behind the control unit/component.
These circuits should be checked additionally for short to ground.

|
Result: Short to Ground
|
- Short circuit to ground between:
X125 Underhood Electronic Module Socket Terminal 32 (XE1) & B9 Trumpet Horn Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 1
or
- Defective component:
B9 Trumpet Horn or X125 Underhood Electronic Module
Important:
Reset the concerned control unit with the diagnostic tester before replacing it. In order to do that, call up the "RESET" function from the PROGRAMMING menu of the current system on the diagnostic tester.
Note:
The replacement of the components must be done in the listed order.
The system must be checked for proper operation after every replacement.
