C-001 - Diagnostic Tester Power Supply Circuit

Check: Interruption of Voltage Supply Circuit

  • Ignition OFF
  • All consumers turned off
  • Disconnect wiring harness connector from:
    Diagnostic tester
  • Measure voltage between the following terminals:
    G1 Battery
    Wiring harness connector (component side) terminal 30
    &
    Ground

greater than 11 V

Check: Interruption of Voltage Supply Circuit

  • Measure voltage between the following terminals:
    X40 Diagnose
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 16
    &
    Ground

    X131 Rear Electronic Module
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 1(XR6),2(XR6)

Important:

Reset the concerned control unit with the diagnostic tester before replacing it. In order to do that, call up the "RESET" function from the PROGRAMMING menu of the current system on the diagnostic tester.

    X125 Underhood Electronic Module
    Socket Terminal 52 (XE1)

    X40 Diagnostic Link
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 16

Important:

Reset the concerned control unit with the diagnostic tester before replacing it. In order to do that, call up the "RESET" function from the PROGRAMMING menu of the current system on the diagnostic tester.
