Thermostat, Remove and Install > < Thermostat Housing, Remove and Install

Replace thermostat housing

  Remove

1.   Remove EGR cooler
2.   Detach 2x coolant hose (2) and (4) from thermostat housing
•   Undo 2 clamps
3.   Remove thermostat housing (3)
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug (1)
•   Unscrew 2x bolts
•   Remove seal
•   Detach coolant hose (5)
– Release clamp

  Install

4.   Clean sealing surface
5.   Install thermostat housing
•   Replace seal
•   Attach coolant hose
– Fasten clamp
•   Tighten 2x bolt 25 Nm
•   Fix wiring harness plug
6.   Attach 2x coolant hose to thermostat housing
•   Attach 2x clamps
7.   Install EGR cooler
