Engine Oil Pressure, Check
Remove

Raise vehicle by its full height
|
3. |
Detach the lower engine cover and right engine splash guard
|
4. |
Place collecting basin underneath.
|
5. |
Remove oil pressure switch (2)
• |
Disconnect wiring harness plug (1)
|
|
|
|
6. |
Attach KM-498-B (1) together with
KM-135
|
|
|
8. |
Lower vehicle by its full height
|
Inspect
Important: Only run the engine
long enough for the oil pressure to reach the value prescribed for
the check.
|

Engine Oil Pressure, Check
• |
Start engine.
Note: Engine oil
pressure >1 bar at idling speed and with engine warmed up (oil
temperature 100°C) and >4 bar at 4000 rpm
|

Install

Raise vehicle by its full height
|
12. |
Detach KM-498-B together with KM-135
|
13. |
Install oil pressure switch
• |
Tighten oil pressure switch 25
Nm
|
• |
Fix wiring harness plug
|
|
14. |
Install lower engine cover and right engine splash guard
|
15. |
Lower vehicle by its full height
|
16. |
Check engine oil level, correct if necessary
• |
Observe specified engine oil quantity
|
