| Complaint: |
Customer complain about the following
symptoms: a.) Engine stalls during driving while pressing the
clutch. b.) Engine does not start. c.) Engine starts but will not
respond to throttle pedal or starts and cut´s out. In all
mentioned cases DTC P0093 (66) is set and MIL is on. |
| Cause: |
Suction control valve (SCV) blocked due to
particles. |
| Production: |
Modified SCV´s were implemented in
production starting with the following Engine number
A/Z17DTx1930957 (04-Jun-2009). |
Remedy:
In case of customer complaint please replace suction control
valve of the high pressure pump only.
Please note:
Neither the common rail nor the high pressure pump must be
replaced.
