Replace air intake pipe > < Replace DIS ignition module

Replacing the air cleaner housing

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Remove air cleaner housing (1)
•   Disconnect mass air flow meter wiring harness plug (3)
– Unclip wiring harness from bracket
•   Detach from air intake pipe
– Release clamp
•   Unscrew bolt (2)
•   Remove with water drain hose
•   Remove with resonance tube

3.   Detach air cleaner housing cover
•   Unscrew 4x bolts
•   Remove air filter element

  Install

4.   Attach air cleaner housing cover
•   Insert air filter element
•   Tighten 4x bolts
5.   Install air cleaner housing
•   Attach water drain hose to air cleaner housing
•   Attach resonance pipe to air cleaner housing
•   Attach to air intake pipe
– Tighten clamp
•   Connect mass air flow meter wiring harness plug
– Attach wiring harness
6.   Close bonnet

Replace air intake pipe > < Replace DIS ignition module
