| Complaint: |
Customer complaint about hissing/surging
noise from turbo charger area during let off. |
| Cause: |
This noise is a typical flow noise within
the intake system especially if the customer releases the
accelerator pedal during boost build up phase, starting at low
RPM. |
| Production: |

Remedy:
I case of customer complaint explain the technical reason for that
noise. Please do not replace parts, because the behaviour is normal
and there will be no improvement.
Model Corsa-D has to be reprogrammed with improved software
(modified T/C actuation) by using TIS2Web, as of 15th December 2008
version 12,5 or higher. This software will not solve the noise
complaint completely, but at least improve the situation.
