Transmission Fluid Pressure, Check AF17
(Mechanical)
Warning: Pull on
handbrake during full load test and depress footbrake.
Important: Do not
test for longer than 5 seconds because of the risk of overheating
at full load. Insert a pause to allow cooling down.
Note: Only main
pressure is checked.
 Remove

Detach upper fluid cooler line from transmission
Note: Place collecting
pan underneath - transmission fluid will escape

detach from transmission at snap fitting
|
| • |
Seal apertures with KM-924
|
|
| 2. |
Attach KM-498-B (2) with KM-580 (1)
| • |
Detach plug (3) from transmission
|
| • |
Install upper fluid cooler line on transmission.
|
|
|
|
| 3. |
Check transmission fluid level 
|
| 4. |
Check main pressure
| • |
Test values, see test instructions
|
|
Install
| 5. |
Detach upper fluid cooler line from transmission
Note: Place collecting
pan underneath - transmission fluid will escape

Seal apertures with KM-924
|
|
| 6. |
Detach KM-498-B and KM-580
|
| 7. |
Tighten plug on transmission 8
Nm
Note: Use new
gasket.

Install upper fluid cooler line on transmission.

| 9. |
Check transmission fluid level
