Fluid Pump, Replace (AF17)

  Remove

1.   Remove transmission
•   Z18XE - AF17
•   Z18XER / A18XER - AF17
2.   Attach KM-910 (2) to transmission.
3.   Using KM-910 , attach transmission to KM-113-2 (1)
Note:   Lock horizontally.
4.   Remove converter
5.   Detach converter housing from transmission housing
•   Unscrew 15x bolt (arrows)
Object Number: 2399753 Size: DEFAULT


6.   Remove fluid pump (1) from transmission housing
•   Unscrew 6x bolt (arrows)
•   Remove fluid pump from transmission housing
Important:   No gasket residue may fall into transmission housing.
7.   Remove 6x gasket (2) and (3)
Object Number: 2399770 Size: DEFAULT


8.   Clean sealing surfaces

  Install

9.   Install fluid pump in transmission housing
•   Tighten 6x bolt 25 Nm
10.   Insert 6x gasket (1) and (2)
11.   Attach converter housing to transmission housing
•   Apply sealing compound to transmission housing
•   Tighten 15x bolt (3) 25 Nm
Note:   Insert bolts with retaining compound

12.   Install converter
13.   Use KM-910 to remove transmission from KM-113-2
14.   Remove KM-910 from transmission.
15.   Install transmission
•   Z18XE - AF17
•   Z18XER / A18XER - AF17
